Outstanding Build Quality
Knee type milling machine is contructed
from a high quality Meehanite casting . The saddle is 1260mm
wide to provide 65% table support when fully extended . The
knee assembly is mounted on a single slideway , which ensures
maximum rigidity .
The machine has been designed specifically for CNC applications
, and standard features include Turcite 'B' fitted to X and
Y axis , hardened and ground square box ways , larger than
average diameter quill , and fully intergrated automatic lubrication
system .
The 3 axis machine movements are controlled by Mitsubishi
AC digital motors , which are brushless , fully sealed against
the ingress of swarf and coolant , and which provide fast
acceleration/deceleration during machining cycle .
The CNC control system is fully conversational and even beginners
can create programs after just 1 to 2 hours training.
